St Lawrence Church stands in the centre of the Surrey village of Chobham and at the heart of community life.

Regular social events and activities organised by the church and other village groups take place in the Church Hall and the church hosts a quarterly lunch for community leaders.

The Pop-In on Tuesdays mornings at the Church Hall, 10.30 - 12 noon, is a fortnightly coffee morning. The St Lawrence Club for the over-70s meets on the alternate Tuesdays for sociable afternoons at the Parish Pavilion in the Recreation Ground during the winter, while in summer the programme includes garden parties, lunches, theatre visits and an annual river trip.

The Café in the Aisles is at St Saviour on Thursday mornings, open from 8.30am, so convenient for parents popping in after dropping their children at Valley End School next door - younger children welcome too.

Our Parish magazine, the Gridiron, is a real village publication with community news and useful information for everyone in Chobham and Valley End.

In the autumn, St Lawrence Church is the focal point of Chobham Festival, a highlight of village life.
