DONATE

WELCOME

If you are a taxpayer you can increase the value of every donation you make through Gift Aid.  When putting money in the collection plate you can simply use one of the small envelopes provided in the pews.

Remember we need your full address, including the postcode in order to claim the Gift Aid.

It  adds another 25p to every £1 you donate, so it really is worth taking a minute to fill in an envelope.

Please ask the CHURCHWARDENS for more information.

It costs £345 a day to run the parish and maintain the buildings of St Lawrence and St Saviour. As there is no financial support for parishes from central church funds, the churches rely greatly on the generosity of members of the congregation, visitors and well-wishers.

We are currently fundraising for major repairs to the St Lawrence Church Tower.

The parish gives 5% of the money it receives each year to local, national and international charities. If you would like to find out more about these charities, please visit our links page.

Regular giving

For giving regularly, the traditional planned giving scheme, in which people use envelopes to place their pledged donations in the collection plate week by week, is popular. Or you can set up a standing order from a bank account.
